Description:
This project explores post-consumerism through a fashion collection created entirely from discarded fabrics and environmental waste. I worked on the art direction and photography, using the garments as a starting point to question our relationship with consumption, material desire, and waste.
The visual narrative is built around two sets.
Set 1, “The Seductive Allure,” captures the charm of consumerism: vibrant colours, tempting objects, and poses that celebrate material satisfaction.
Set 2, “The Aftermath,” shifts into the consequences: overflowing bins, discarded packaging, and models draped in plastics, to highlight the environmental weight of our choices.
The project reflects on how easily beauty and excess are intertwined, and why today’s fashion landscape needs a more mindful, responsible approach.
