This project reimagines the Balenciaga archive through a tactile Rolodex format, turning key moments from the house into a physical system of cards. Each card explores a different chapter of Balenciaga’s history, from Cristóbal’s sculptural silhouettes to Demna’s contemporary reinterpretations, using mixed media, collage, typography, and material studies.
The Rolodex acts as a compact archive: part research, part visual storytelling, and part material exploration. It brings together analysis of collections, cultural references, colour studies, and experimental layouts to show how the brand’s language has evolved across time. The result is a handheld, interactive archive that makes fashion history feel accessible, playful, and physical.
